I am really looking forward to this year! I guess I technically can't say that since we're already in this year...but you catch my drift.
Travel is in my future! So far, I have two trips planned: a cruise with the hubs and his parents to Puerto Rico in February and a kickass (or at least I'm already planning on it being kickass) trip to NYC with Lindsey and Ann-Marie in March. So incredibly excited for both trips. I'm not even kidding you. It's time to get out of town.
I'm also doing the intermediate workshops at Comedy Sportz and am working on my mad (or soon to be mad) improv skills. Ok, I just felt like an old person trying to be cool by using the word "mad" and instead just sounding old. Oh well. But so far, so good! I love having the opportunity to do fun stuff like that just because I want to. Especially without having to stay up late to do homework afterwards (did I mention I graduated?). That's probably the best part. But I'm learning lots! Being funny ain't easy, folks.
This is also the year of organization! My office and laundry room are on the top of the list. They will get clean and organized if it's the last thing I do. I also want to organize stuff to the point where I'm ready to open an Etsy shop. I am dying to sell some prints! Prints that first need to be designed. But I'm looking forward to have an office to produce all that stuff. We'll see what 2012 has in store...
There are definitely some firsts this year, already. My first issue of Cricut Magazine is out, peeps!
Did I mention that I work for Northridge Publishing now? Well, I do! I design Cricut Magazine and my first issue, February, is on the stands (or will be soon). Of course, looking at the printed version, I've found a few mistakes. Ugh. But I'm noticing that each issue I work on is getting better and better. I really do enjoy my job. I love doing something that I've never done before.
Basically...this year will be a very interesting one, I'm predicting (despite or in honor of listening to the Freakanomics podcast about predicting earlier today). I guess we'll see.
