We are not big Valentine's celebrators at our house. I'm sure once we have a kid, it'll be a different story (because I love getting anything themed from Target but need a good excuse). But we are perfectly content with giving each other cards and calling it good.
Mostly because we always like to do things for each other on regular days (i.e. buy gifts, bring home flowers, go for dinner) that it seemed a little much to try to make this one day a fancy one. But I am a card person so I absolutely love getting cards from my husband. And this year he got me a Paris-themed card so I thought that was extra thoughtful.
I did, however, make some treats for my family that lives near by. It was fun and gave me a creative outlet for Valentine's.
Man, I wish I was a family member that lived close by. Super cute v-day sweets!
