1. Elephants. On 34th St. At midnight.
I flew home the day the elephants went a rompin' down the street, all cute holding each others tails with their noses. Me, Shauna, Keila, Leilani and Seth went to view the famous circus coming to town. I live in a crazy place, I'm telling ya. But crazy cool.
2. I think I'm obsessed with Twitter. I follow celebrities like I'm 12. It's so easy! You click, "follow" and then you follow them. I know. It sounds crazy, but it's true. It's that easy. And then these make me happy:
And my favorite:
No, I'm not following myself. Silly. It's my famous alter ego! Ha ha ha. She's British. And famous. And now we follow each other on Twitter. Awes.
But Ingrid is my fav Twitterer. Especially since she wrote a song about it that you can download here. She's funny...

3. Does anyone want to buy these shoes from me?
I think I wore them once only and I just can't quite do the heels thing while walking around this crazy town. They're size 6.5 and they're so super cute. I just won't ever wear them and thought someone could give them a good home.
So, if you'd like to adopt these shoes, for a small fee of $25 (free shipping! gasp!), then let me know!
And yes, I know I have small feet.
4. Look at these crazy, happy girls!!!

Not the best pic, but who cares?!?! We just met Lauren Graham!!! Chloe took the pics of me and KP with LG because we were too crazy nervous to get our Playbill signed AND have to worry about taking pics. The show was great--LG can SING! It was very entertaining even though some people's performances weren't the best. But I would def see it again.
And as if we weren't crazy enough, after seeing West Side Story the next day we ran over to the Guys and Dolls theater to catch LG again!

After signing autographs she jumped in her car and as they were driving away, KP and I waved at her...and she waved back!!!! At us!! We're 12!!!!
And yes, I just started calling her LG. Never did before. Do now.
5. This cutey patootey turns one this weekend:
My niece M is so big!! I can't believe it! Miss her like crazy (I think I've said "crazy" in every number so far...awesome).
6. Our subway got stopped at 34th Street on my way to school on Tuesday. Luckily I was by the door so I could see what was going on. There were a handful of cops talking to the train conductor and they were getting ready to look through an abandoned bag that was left on a subway car. Ten minutes later, they figure out that it's just full of homeless stuff but people were ma-ad. Being late for work is not fun. But I guess they're just doing their job. You know, the whole "If You See Something, Say Something," campaign...
Chloe snapped this pic of some of New York's finest talking to a crazy person! All in a days work!!

7. I have a thing for peanut butter.
I love it.
Just ask my friends.
So, when me, Chloe and KP went to Max Brenner, I knew I had to get the pb and chocolate bagel. Just for the warm, drippy peanut butter. And it's so pretty. Chloe let me take a pic of it on her cool camera. After I ate a quarter of it.

P.S. They did a redesign on their menu (and even changed what's on the menu) so check it out!
8. I entered online to get Letterman tickets and actually got a call last week about it! Turns out, you have to answer a Letterman trivia question in order to actually get said tickets. Too bad I haven't watched it in a while cause I bombed the trivia question.
Letterman Chick: Do you watch the show regularly?
Me: Um, sort of. Sometimes. [obviously nervous, cause I'm a nerd]
LC: Uhhh, ok. Well, you need to get the trivia question right.
Me: Ok.
LC: Ok, who is Sue Hum?
Me: Ummm...that intern chick who dances weird?
LC: Ooooh, are you sure?
Me: Well...no. I don't know.
LC: Well, that's wrong. [very down talkishly]
Me: Shoot.
Turns out that Sue Hum (which for a while I was like, "Sue Hamm? Sue Humm? Sue Hame?" in my head...I had no idea what she was saying) is the costume designer...? Did anyone else know that? Probably. I'm the idiot.
She then told me ways to get tickets without having to answer a trivia question. Shut up lady. She probably WAS the intern chick who dances weird.
9. I've been working on my portfolio like crazy this last week. It's been time consuming and surprisingly exhausting. I didn't even include half the work I've done for AC but I had to get it done for school. Anyways...my neck hurts right now from sitting on my couch on my computer all day so I'm going to end it at 9 today, instead of 10. Sorry. I'll be surprised if anyone really reads it all anyways! Ha!
Later,
Sarah ;)

Hello! I read it! Isn't it worth it just for that? haha. If it's okay can I steal the photograph of us? I think it looks really cute! It was a really fun weekend.

I read it all. Ok yes, I am a stalker and sound like I have no life, but I do really! I just live vicariously through you, KP and Susan W. and all of your fun adventures and neat pictures and awesome knowledge of the crafting world. Can we just switch for one day?? Please!!! I know you would just love living in CA, driving 3 kids around, writing my Master's Thesis and organizing my craft room for me while I was "single" and living it up in NYC...really doesn't that sound like a fair trade???? My hubby won't bite, I promise.
LOL ;) Keep blogging, I need some form of entertainment.

I agree with the woman above me. Let's switch. I can offer you a grocery getter, 4 kids, with amazingly adorable personalities, and cute clothes. and Hi. Who doesn't wanna be a SAHM with nothing to live for?
And I'm pretty sure I would have bombed the Letterman question too. I was never even fast enough to answer the questions on who wants to be a millionaire. SAd. all of it.

I love reading your blog Sarah!
And if I had smaller feet I would so put in an offer for those shoes - LOVE them!
Just thought I'd comment and say Hi!

I am so jealous that you got so close to Lauren Graham...is she as gorgeous in real life as she appears on tv?
