Greetings bloglings. Here is a much delayed post...
1. Life is busy. It's filled with a big long To Do list that never seems to end. I'm sure you all know what that's like. But when I get a spare moment, I hang out with this cool chick:
My niece, M. She's very entertaining.
2. Speaking of nieces...I got a new one! Add that to the list of Things I Didn't Have to Miss By Coming Home. In fact, let's put that at the top of the list. So glad I was able to meet Miss S the day she was born.
3. School is keeping me busy but it's also keeping me doing things that I want to be doing. Coming back to my old school, I'm much farther along (thank heavens) and will graduate sooner than if I had stayed in NYC (I keep having to remind myself of the positives since I miss NYC pretty much every day...). In my Digital Painting class I created this:
It's a self-portrait of something we are passionate about. I chose NYC. Shocker. But I learned, rather quickly, that creating art in Photoshop is HARD. Especially if you like Illustrator more.
4. I don't think I ever mentioned that my older brother is getting married. So...my older brother is getting married! And the blessed event is next week in Illinois/Missouri. I'm excited to go to places I've never been before and see some LDS Church History locales. Also, I too Scott and Rachel's engagements so here are some of my favs:
And this is the one they chose:
Congrats to them both! And thanks for humoring me with this photo shoot.
5. I am visiting NYC this weekend! The main reason being the I have tickets to go see Hamlet starring Jude Law. I got them months ago, before I knew I was not staying, for me and KP to go. Unfortunately KP won't be there this weekend so I'm going with our friend Puz. Boo. It won't be the same. But I am planning on proposing to Jude afterwards so who knows...I may get engaged this weekend!! Cross your fingers!!!
6. Some of you might know that my favorite musical is In The Heights. If you didn't know that...then you must be new to my blog. Welcome. But they recently announced the cast for the tour so if ITH is coming to a city near you...go see it!! The best part is that my favorite dancer Jose is playing Graffiti Pete on tour. Awes!!
And since I've won the ITH lottery the last few times I've gone...I'm extremeley tempting to go on Friday to see if I can get in. Must...see...Javier. He's still my ITH crush. Here are some pics of the stage from the last time I won the lottery (front row baby!!!):
Next up to bat, the Rosario's...
7. Have you read Catching Fire yet?
Don't tell me anything. I'm still reading it.
8. Luckily some of my most favorite peeps in the world were in town a few weeks ago. The Hsu's:
I have never wanted to steal a baby more. And I'm not a baby person. Really. Ask around. But this kid...is to die for. Oh my gosh. Love them all.
9. Someone has been neglected on my blog. And I think he might of been jealous of the trump from Jude Law. Sorry James. And welcome back.
10. So, I'm thinking that once I turn 30 in a few months, that it just might be time to end the blog. I have an idea for a new blog that, if I make myself do it, might be kinda cool. We'll see. But that's what I'm thinking I'm going to do.
Later,
Sarah ;)
Nooooo, Sarah, you can't end the blog. I (heart) your blog. I have missed you. Turning 30 is good, and so is blogging ;-)
Keep em coming!

It freaks me out when they wrap babies up like that so it looks like their legs have been chopped off!

So glad to see you blogging again! Are you finished with Catching Fire? What did you think? Do you love Gale or Peeta more? Ugh, I don't think I can wait another year to find out how it ends!!
