1. It's official. My date of moving, that is. August 15th. The ticket has been purchased (a one-way...kind of weird for me). And I'm still homeless. In New York--don't worry, I have a home here. Still hoping that something will work out.

3. Going to see this movie twice tonight. My 2 groups of friends going had conflicting schedules so I decided to go with both. A double header. It better be good.

4. Going to the Salt Lake Farmer's Market tomorrow with my sis which I am so looking forward to. I've been dying to go. Then we're going to for lunch afterwards. Doesn't that sound like the perfect thing to do on a Saturday morning?

5. Was anyone else a little shocked when Kherington went home last night on SYTYCD?

I almost cried. Not because I necessarily love Kherington but mostly because a) I don't care for Comfort, and b) it looked like Kherington just gave up. Kinda sad. But I predicted Gev leaving even though I heart him. I heart ALL the boys. Seriously. I love them all. I want them all to stay.

6. Um, so Penelope is sold out everywhere in Utah. I think it just might have a little something due to the Twilight stuff on the dvd. And as much as I love Twilight, I really just want to own the Penelope dvd. Desperate times call for desperate measure (when James McAvoy is involved) and Bridgette is sending me a copy, bless her heart. Given a choice, I'd definitely choose James over Robert. Sorry.

7. I've started reading Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer and I must say that I love his writing style. This is the first of his books I've attempted to read--he also wrote Everything Is Illuminated. Anyways, I'm excited to read it. Which is a good sign. I haven't been excited to read anything in a while.

Plus, the cover is cool.

8. Last night Candice and I were in a commercial for her uncle's Italian ice shop, Tomasso's. It was awesome! The best part was eating lots of Italian ice! I just hope the commercials come on before I leave. Wait. Scratch that--I was having a bad hair day. I hope they come on after I leave. But them's some gooooood Italian ice. Seriously.

9. Is it bad when I want to eat frosting out of the can? Didn't think so.

10. There are so many things that I'm looking forward to when I move to New York. Right now it's Gray's Papaya hot dogs. Mmmmmm...hot dogs. They're so good. And now I'm craving one.

In The Clouds Confessions

1. So, I caved and bought NKOTB's song Summertime. Shut up! It's good! In a oldturnednewboybandtryingtoohard sort of way.



I still heart Joey. So cute.

2. Saw Indiana Jones. Huh. That's all I'm going to say until the rest of the world has seen it. Then I'll start complaining.



I did enjoy Shia LaBeouf though. He's cool.

3. Also saw What Happens in Vegas. Hellllooooooooo Ashton. He's hot. There's no denying it.



And it was a lot funnier than I expected it to be. The people who play their friends are hilarious. My fav part was the very end. I was crying laughing with my sis at the end part.

4. Are you watching So You Think You Can Dance?!?!?! You should be. This week the auditions are in my neck of the woods--good ol' Salt Lake City. So check 'em out yo. I'm still in love with Neil from last season though. So very cute.

6. I'm really getting excited for this:


to come out. Only 6-ish months to wait. Not too bad. Except all day today my boss would come into our office (of 3 Twilight loving girls) and say stuff like, "I heard that the guy who plays Edward quit and they replaced him with Bobcat Goldthwait." Nice try.

7. You know how celebs do voice overs on commercials so they don't have to appear in the commercial yet still make lots of money? I can't stop noticing it now. Patrick Dempsey does State Farm Insurance & Mazda. Lauren Graham does Special K. John Corbett does Applebee's. Queen Latifah for Pizza Hut. Jeff Bridges does Duracell. Gene Hackman is Lowe's. Sela Ward does Crest. Julia Roberts did AOL. Alec Baldwin used to do Blockbuster but they switched him out for generic voice. Does Antonio Banderas really do the Nasonex commercials? Who knows. But seriously...once you notice, you won't be able to listen to another commercial without trying to figure out who the voice is.

8. I've been watching Sex & the City on TBS which is my first attempt at really watching this show. I was watching the episode where Carrie leaves for Paris (was that the finale?) and I was seriously crying like a freakin' baby watching it. Curse shows based on strong friendships!!! Maybe I'm such a sap because I'm basically friendless this Summer left to wallow in my self pity with Diet Coke, Pringles Honey Butter Stix (which are my new fav by the way--thank you Marlene) and SATC. I'm awesome!!



9. Have you ever watched iCarly on Nick? Yes, I just wrote that and you read it right. As a former Hannah Montana watcher (I am now bugged that Miss Miley is EVERYWHERE I turn therefore I'm boycotting HM), I have recently discovered iCarly and think it's a fine replacement for HM. And yes, I'm 12. I think my favorite part is her older brother Spencer who reminds me and my sisters of our little brother. So funny.

 
10.The last time I did Hip Hop Abs, my legs hurt the next day. Seriously...what am I doing wrong? Oh, maybe the doing-it-once-a-week is the problem. Apparently it's one of those do-it-every-day-in-order-for-it-to-work programs. Shoot.

If You Were Here Confessions

1. So, I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do all Summer. Mostly because my bff Chloe is leaving for pretty much the whole Summer and she's pretty much my partner in crime. Maybe I'll get a boyfriend. Or do more Hip Hob Abs. Or both.

2. The Swell Season was pretty darn fantastic. I took some pics but haven't taken the time to actually upload them to my computer. Sorry. But here's a cute one of Glen and Mar from their Myspace:

If you ever have a chance to see them (and already like them) then I would suggest doing everything in your power to go. Even after standing for 5-ish hours, the concert was fabulous. Glen is hilarious. Hilarious. Great stories. Seriously. And the best part was watching him watch Marketa. He is smitten. And the former members of The Frames were also fantastic (and hot--the bass player was small but hot).

I didn't take this picture. Obviously. We didn't see them at a bookstore. I just had to clarify. And clarify his Irish hotness.

3. I'm so used to having night classes after work that I have slight anxiety attacks every evening because I think I'm supposed to be somewhere. Nice. School sucks. It's turned me into a basket case.

4. I've been working on some not-so-exciting things at work that pretty much limit me to my computer and doing the same thing over and over again. It's been a week and a half that I've been doing this. But surprisingly it's not too bad because I've been catching up on all the tv I've missed thanks to networks having past episodes online. Granted I pretty much just listen to them. But it's pretty great. I'm back on Grey's people!! It's been a while since I've hung out with McDreamy.

So very good to be back.

5. And since this is turning into a post full of hot, here is McAvoy...obviously.

6. So, while I was looking for more shows to listen to while working, I attempted to watch Eli Stone...but it turns out, I couldn't quite get into it. At all. BUT the reason I at least attempted was because it stars Edmund from Mansfield Park (aka Jonny Lee Miller--which is a very American sounding name for an Englishman, don't you think?). He's the most adorable Edmund ever. And then I found out he was married to Angelina Jolie and is besties with Jude Law and Ewan McGregor. What the...?!?!?!?!?!

And even though he and Jude are bffs...I still can't watch Eli Stone. Sorry Jonny. Unless Jude personally invites me to a private screening at his house...then I'd seriously, seriously consider it. Seriously.

7. Thanks for the music suggestions!! All has been noted. I'll keep you posted on my findings.

8. Have you seen PS I Love You? If not, you should. I'm totally going to buy that movie. So I can sob like a freak in the privacy of my own home. This movie and seeing The Swell Season really makes me want to go to Ireland...someday. And meet a Scotsman/Irishman like Gerard Butler:

9. I had a slight Molly Ringwald-a-thon last Saturday since Sixteen Candles was on tv and I own Pretty In Pink. She's so good at playing the nerdy girl who gets the hot guy. So, #9 will be flashback hotness in the form of a young Michael Schoeffling (who seemed to drop of the planet after Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken...?) and a young Andrew McCarthy who were hotter then than I'm sure they are now.

And yes...I have a crush on both Jake and Blane.

10. And just for good measure...my boyfriend (sporting a tank top and a weird tattoo)...I give you...Batman.

What For Confessions

Gosh. I suck at blogging.

1. Last night I attempted to do Hip Hop Abs. You've seen the commercials. You know what I'm talking about. I borrowed it from Chloe and quickly realized that I am not good at hip hop. At all. And I just kept thinking over and over in my head, "My buns don't feel nuttin' like stee-yal," which I've quoted before on here but if you're unfamiliar with it, it's from Clueless. And today my shoulders hurt a heck of a lot more than my abs do. I think I did something wrong.

2. The Rooney concert was pretty darn good for their first stop on their Summer tour. It was fun to go to a concert with my Dad. I think we were the 2 oldest people there. Yes, you read that right. There were more brace-faced kids there than most concerts but that probably had to do with the fact that the opening band was a local high school group that graduated from the garage and somehow scored a gig opening for Rooney. Locksley was good (and my Dad's favorite) but I thoroughly enjoyed Rooney and their pretty faces.

Ok, one pretty face. The Schwartzman. He's pretty.

3. One of my pet peeves is mascara commercials. We all know that the chicks in the commercials are wearing fake eyelashes. I mean...seriously. There is NO WAY that anyone's natural lashes look like that. Ever. And what bugs me even more are the Cover Girl ones with a very, very orange Drew Barrymore. I'm not sure how she became a Cover Girl in the first place but the fact that she is orange is even more disturbing.

4. I'm excited to announce that my sis and her hubby finally adopted a baby girl!! I wanted to make sure that I had the go ahead before I announced anything on here and now that I do, I get to say how happy I am for them!! She's adorable and I'm a proud Aunt.

5. I was looking at the things hanging in my office around my desk and I realized that with my picture of James McAvoy and my calendar and pics of friends and family that it's really just a step up from a locker in high school. It's just more space. That might just be me since not everyone has pictures torn from magazines of hot guys put up in their office. They're so missing out.

And for some reason, I can't find the pic of McAvoy that I have at my desk...weird. So instead, here's another good one:

7. Going to see The Swell Season with Chloe on Friday. Totally looking forward to this concert. Most concerts I've gone to lately have been singer/songwriter gigs which are nice (Rooney made my ears ring...they haven't rung since...Muse maybe?). This one should be wicked cool. I mean, they won a freakin' Oscar. And the movie Once was amazing so it'll be cool to see them in real life.

8. I totally want to see Made of Honor.

I'm a sucker for pretty much any chick flick so I'm definitely going to check this one out. Plus I'm completely intrigued by Patrick Dempsey. He's lead an interestingly weird life so the fact that he's a full blown celeb right now is intriguing. I mean, he's hot. So that helps. But his history is weird.

9. A good mellow-ish song is 10,000 Stones by Adrianne. I really like it. You can listen to her stuff here...including a clip of this song. I love her voice.

10. I miss Ryan saying "Seacrest out!" at the end of American Idol. It was awesome...ly bad.

Truth Untold Confessions

1. Why is it that weddings are both happy and sad? Ok, maybe they are just that way for me. It was happy because I am genuinely excited for the couple and sad because I am genuinely single and probably will be for a while. Because, of course, it's all about me. It was a fun wedding though. Mostly because I got to spend time with my bff's Chloe and Jen all weekend long.

And Sungti, the bff by marriage. So much fun.

And just as a warning...I've been listening to Cary Brothers' Honestly all day and am very pensive right now...we'll see how that translates on the blog today.

2. It's finals week. I have 2 tomorrow and a paper & final on Thursday. And yes, you can be sure that I'll be singing George Michael's Freedom on the top of my lungs on the drive home. I need a break. And some George Michael.

3. I've been making Christmas ornaments pretty much all day...yes, the joys of my job--making ornaments in April. So, to find some ideas I've been googling and such, which lead to this beauty:

I'm sorry...but doesn't this look like a human heart? Merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart. Literally. That's what this says to me.

4. Another song I'm hooked on right now is Meiko's How Lucky We Are. It's so good. Except there is a swear at the beginning so I hope that doesn't deter you from listening to the rest of the song. Because it's so good. I love her voice. And she was wicked good in concert.

5. Chloe and I watched Starter For 10 this weekend...post wedding mayhem. Oh, James McAvoy...you're even cute playing a nerdy guy in the 80's.

The best part is when he first gets to Bristol and goes to a party with his roommates and attempts to dance. It's like 2 seconds long but we had a good laugh about it. Oh, and his reaction in the bathroom scene. Awesome. Seriously.

6. So, the Twilight movie comes out 3 days after my birthday. Good to know what my birthday plans are 8 months in advance. And my friends better also start planning. Just fyi.

7. 2008 is the year of change. Have I said that already? Probably in January. I could just feel it coming on. So much has happened already to people in my life. Maybe I'm next. We'll see...2008...I'm telling you. Change.

8. This is from Jen's blog but I must say...I completely agree:

"Music on blogs. A few days ago, the wise and lovely Janssen posted about how she hates blogs that have a reduced view in Reader that required her to click through to their web site to read each post. I could not agree with her more. There are some blogs that I am willing to click through to (because I know the writing or pictures will be worth it) but in general I just skip over such posts. And then I delete them from my list of blogs to read. You know what is just lovely about Reader, beside the easy access to hundreds of blog feeds? The fact that you don’t have to risk having annoying music start playing when you open some blogs. People, why do you do that to me? If you want to hear music then just play it on your own computer? Why do you want to share it with me? Oh, because you know I like shared music? Well, not of that variety. I know I can scroll down and turn the music player off, but mostly what I do instead is close the page. Take Me to the Riot Confessions

1. I'm sorry to all you Dodge-lovers out there, but I hate my rental car.

And yes, I still have it almost a month later. Sad to say that I miss my Saturn. Never, ever thought I would say that. I'll hopefully get it back on Friday. Cross your fingers for me.

2. This Saturday is another Ingrid Michaelson concert!! I'm so excited! Although it feels like I just saw her...but I'm excited nonetheless. Love her.

3. Oh, hello James.

So dashing. And still my crush. Be prepared for many more pics...unless I find someone new. Which might happen...but let's be honest...not for a while.

4. Loving Sondre Lerche. He's the man behind the Dan in Real Life Soundtrack and is pretty much amazing. I bought some of his new rockin' stuff. LOVE it. Love him.

5. So, bad customer service is one of my biggest pet peeves ever. I don't think the general population realizes how far good customer service can go. And usually I get crappy service which is why it's a pet peeve. But today I got some fantastic customer service so I thought I'd praise them for it.

I had a slight fiasco with my OnStar lady when I had my accident. It wasn't good. So, when I got the survey to tell them how she did, I was honest. Well, OnStar called and apologized and said they'd review the tape to see if any action needed to be taken and they gave me 6 months of service free. Now that's fantastic customer service. Thanks OnStar!

6. I decided to take the Summer off of school. You have no idea how good that feels. Not as good as if I were, say, graduating...but still good. I want to take some trips. And regain a little bit of sanity.

9. I have so many friends visiting next month!! I'm so excited! next month is going to be crazy busy. Friends in town (Maren, Sarah, and Jenny followed by Jen and Sungti), Richard and Bre's wedding and finals. Yeah. Gooooood times. I just want to play. But I suppose I'll put a little bit of effort into school. I guess.

10. Woke up yesterday to snow. Snow. Snoooooow. Yick. I'm planning on protesting and picketing the ski resorts since they're the only people I can think to blame for this upset. It's once again cold. Not awesome.

Lucky Denver Mint Confessions

1. Happy St. Patty's Day (try to imagine that in my best Irish accent...)!! In honor of this holiday that I don't celebrate other than wearing green, I will also do this whole blog post in green so that it doesn't get pinched.

Additionaly, I'll post a picture of the handsome Gerard Butler who isn't Irish, but he plays one in a movie.

(I had to put all that in so that I wouldn't get "Ummm...Gerard Butler isn't Irish," comments. That was for you people...I know he's not Irish. And sometimes I like to lump 'em all into the British title which I know also isn't true...gosh, that was a long explanation.)

2. I got to go for lunch today with the super cool Kristina Werner, my friend Emily Olsen and Kristina's Co-Worker/Emily's sister Annie. It was great fun to see/meet them all--including Emily's hubby and superly cute little boy, Reid. We discussed good things like Farmer's Markets, Gelato and celeb gossip. Good times.

3. After going to see a movie the other night, we discovered a standee for the new movie Made of Honor with Patrick Dempsey and it had a cut-out for the bride's face. So, Chloe and I had to take our pics with it. I mean...really. We didn't have a choice. It was screaming at us to take pictures. Basically.

Anyways, to prove that I'm awesome (and by "awesome" I mean a nut job) here's me and Patrick going down the isle:

This was my one chance to kiss him. Didn't quite make it. Oh yeah, and he was cardboard. And I'm crazy. I don't think it would work out with the two of us.

4. I've been uber sick of my music right now so I've been chillin' on Pandora. It's been good so far. Found some cool music. And soon I will get sick of Pandora and come crawling back to my neglected iTunes. It's just what happens.

5. So, my rental car has Sirius satellite radio on it and I've pretty much stayed on channel 77, the Broadway channel. It's pretty good. I was listening the other night and they had Alan Menken on talking about the Little Mermaid on Broadway and stuff. Anyways, the host asked him what he was working on and he mentioned Sister Act and Leap of Faith on Broadway. Ok. Not bad. But then he said that he was recently in meetings for...drumroll...Newsies. Yes, you read that right. They don't know if it will be on Broadway or not but they said they were working on stage version. It's about freakin' time!!! It better go to Broadway cause I'd see it in a heartbeat. I almost cried tears of joy.

6. I'm really liking the song By Your Side by the Sweedish band Eskobar. You can listen to it on their myspace page (it's on their album released May 3, 2006).

8. I got bangs. I know that last time I got bangs, I didn't post any pics of them. That was because we had a love/hate relationship, me and the bangs. This time around, jury's still out. Today I feel like I look like a homeless person. Tomorrow could--and hopefully will be--different. It's a rollercoaster. So, until I get a really good pic, you get to see the pic I took on my phone that I sent to my friends...doing a kissy face. Apparently, that's all I can do.

9. I don't usually like Renée Zellweger....ever but I did see Miss Potter this weekend and thought it was pretty good. And really, it made me want to go to England even more. I think it's my density. Me and England. Do you like how I started this out about one thing and then completely changed it into something else? It's like a real life conversation with me. Anyways, Miss Potter was good and I liked it. Words I never thought I'd say.

10. If you want yummy Italian Ice and you live in the Provo area then go to Tomasso's. So yummy and apparently the small only has 70 calories. Hellllloooo? Yum.

Even Better Yet Confessions

1. Even though they were the lowest ratings in Oscar history, I thought Jon Stewart was a fantastic host. I love him and was so glad he was the host cause he's freakin' hilarious.

Watching the Oscar's is a family affair for the Champion's. Or at least for the kids. We had a party at my sister's. I tied for 2nd place in correct guesses with my older brother. Always good times.

2. James McAvoy was at the Oscar's.

I'm a little obsessed.

3. I got a new cord to replace my crappy one so that I can now listen to the 'Pod in my car again! Yay! So, to break in it Chloe and I cruised around P-Town today at lunch with Mika playing loud for all of BYU to hear. We're cool!! And by "cruise" I mean from where we ate lunch to wear I dropped Chloe back off at work. 5 minutes of good cruising time is 5 minutes nonetheless. And no matter what, Mika puts you in a good mood.

4. Going to see my favs tomorrow night: Joshua Radin

and Ingrid Michaelson.

I'm anticipating a fabulous concert. And let's all collectively pray that the majority of the crowd is under 21 thus opening up the space in the over 21 section. Here's hoping.

5. I got 100% on my Health class paper. Weird, right? I mean, who knew that I could analyze a peer reviewed journal about the safety of rear pick-up truck seats that fantastically? My dad said, "Maybe you should be a doctor." I said, "Um, I wrote the paper the night before it was due." Statement retracted.

6. At work we have a lot of cool mags hanging around to help give us inspiration when designing new products. Today I was looking at Nylon's London Calling issue which basically made me want to pack up my things and head for the Mother Land. No, not Canada. My original Mother Land. London just seems so cool! Everything about it. That's it. It's going into my life goal list.

7. I came home from work and The Wedding Date was on tv. Since I had never seen it, I thought I'd give it a try before I had to get back to doing my homework. Um, that movie is terrible. Like, really bad. Like...really, really bad. But of course I watched it all in the hopes it would get better. I mean, it has Dermot Mulroney in it for pete's sake!! But no. It didn't. So, to make up for it, here's a really good pic of Dermot.

8. A birthday shout out to one of my most bestest friends in the world. I've known her since I was like 7 or 8, I think. That's a long time. She's pretty much the coolest and funnest and craziest and nerdiest (and a lot of other made up adjectives) friend in the world and I'm lucky to even know her. So, Happy Birthday Maren!! Love ya to freakin' pieces.

No worries, folks. This demonstration of craziness was taken like 3 years ago. We're waaaaay more sane now.

9. I bought a dresser from IKEA. The thing I love about IKEA is that you get to put stuff together. I looooove putting stuff together. I really do. It's so much fun. So, this is what I put together the other night at 1 in the a.m. It's pretty.

Around You Confessions

1. So, California was fantastic! Really, it was. I got to go on my favorite rides at Disneyland and California Adventure followed by Wicked in Hollywood. It was fantastic. Mind you, Hollywood is freakin' disgusting. But other than that, all was well...and warm.

2. When I first saw the trailer for Definitely, Maybe I said, "Definitely, Maybe Not." Clever, I know.

But then I saw the commercials on tv which were so much better than the theatrical trailer. And then I read a review in EW that claimed that it wasn't too bad. So, I decided that I'd definitely, maybe give it a shot. And I definitely, maybe did! And truthfully, it wasn't too bad and I actually enjoyed it. And Ryan Reynolds. I actually enjoyed him which I thought would be the part I hated the most. Which I didn't. The end.

3. Ok, so I haven't been watching American Idol since I have class Tuesday nights and then continually forget about the Wednesday night show. BUT, I did catch the end of the Hollywood days and fell swiftly in love with David Archuleta. Not like IN love with him, but the kid is so freakin' cute and goofy and awkward and talented that you just can't not love him.

4. I got Becoming Jane, naturally, and can't stop watching the dance scene where Mr. Lefroy just appears and takes Jane off guard and completely melts her heart. And mine. What is it about James McAvoy that makes me swoon so much? I mean, he's good looking but not in an obvious way. He's English...that's always good. But the second he's on the screen, I swear my stomach flips. It's too bad he's married in real life...cause, I'd like totally try to marry him. Like...totally.

I love him. Mr. Tumnus and all.

5. Kelly suggested today that maybe I should start scrapbooking again. Gasp! But really, I probably should since I haven't done it in...forever. Well, my own stuff anyways. We'll see...

7. After taking two trips in the month of February, I both: A) want to take more trips and B) am pretty poor. I love traveling. I really do. I'm sad I can't join Chloe in Chicago next week with KP and Kevin. Boo.

8. I have a subscription to Domino Magazine. I don't think I'm in love with it yet. It's no Blueprint (may you rest in peace). I mean, the cover always catches me, but the content doesn't keep me interested. I don't know why. I think I need more pictures. And less expensive items to peruse.

9. What would be a good toe nail polish color? I'm thinking dark purple. Good? Bad? Really, really ugly? I need input. And I found this ever-so helpful picture that depicts what I was thinking:

Acceptable in the 80's Confessions

1. I'm going to California this week!! I cannot wait. Warmer weather, Disneyland, and Wicked. All good things. And I'm only working 2 days this week...so great.

2. Went to the Mika concert on Friday.

Worst part: standing in line for 2 hours in the freezing cold (doors were supposed to open at 6 but didn't open until 8 due to Mika's instruments being left in another state).

Best part: he decided to do the concert anyways--acoustic style!! And oh my gosh, it was one amazing concert!! Loved every second of it.

And now I'm in love with a possible gay man--he's adorable and the British accent only added to my love for him. The best song was Lollipop--he sang it double speed. It was freakin' awesome. Seriously. The best. And we all got $10 back for having to wait so long which we found out because we ran into my friend Matt and his gf Meghan...luckily.

3. Chloe and I threw our newly engaged friends, Richard & Bre, a casual engagement party on Saturday night. So fun! We had yummy cheeses and fruit and red velvet cupcakes and cocktail weenies and more. Yum. I think I gained 10 lbs just looking at all the food. And we played Rock Band which I had never played before. Awesome!! I love playing the drums!! Then we made them talk mushy about each other which is always a good time.

4. My friend Wynn came to the engagement party with his wife (which was fun cause I haven't seen them much since he stopped working at AC) and told me about Calvin Harris--the title of this post is named after one of his songs. If you like disco, you'll love the reinvention of it by Calvin Harris. Check him out. So fun--makes me want to dance!!

5. Have you seen this movie?

If you love type and more specifically, Helvetica, you must watch this movie. My dept watched it about a month ago and I ended up getting my own copy because I loved it. I love type. It makes me happy.

6. I promised my friends I would tell this Valentine's story on my blog, so here goes:

It was 7th grade. Just before Valentine's Day. My Jr. High was doing these Cupid Match-Ups where you'd fill out a survey and then on Valentine's you'd get a print out that listed your top 10 matches in the school. And I think your bottom 3, too. So, Valentine's rolls around and I pay $1 to get my Match-Ups and I look at my #1 match and it says: Scott Champion. My brother. I got my brother who was in 9th grade as my #1 match. Mortified. I was mortified. Luckily, I can laugh about it now. Back then? Not so much.

7. Isn't this so cool?

I got it at the MoMA Design Store. I love it.

8.  My favorite Diet Coke ad...because it's so true for me. Sad...but oh so true.

9.  I had a sapfest last night with a double header of the new Pride & Prejudice followed by The Holiday. Yeah. Probably not such a good idea for my fragile heart. Except that I got to drool over Jude Law again. Nice.
