Party of One Book Club : Little Women

I finally finished Little Women!! It took me a while but only because this book is over 700 pages (or at least was on my Kindle) but not because it wasn't enjoyable. It was lovely. I might have also read Mindy Kaling's book somewhere in the middle of reading this one (it was great, btw)...so...ahem.

I don't know about you, but I fell in love with the movie that came out in 1994 with Winona Ryder for so many reasons (the acting, the cinemetography, the sets and costumes, Christian Bale...) and it really did make me happy to see how many lines from the film were directly from the book. Loved it. So much.

And because I finished the book, I designed a print that will go up in the shop soon! I'm going to be adding lots to the shop soon and this will be one of the items. Stay tuned.


 Here is where I am on my Party of One Book Club and I'm looking forward to reading The Scarlett Letter! Although I think I might take a selfish Book Club break and read Lauren Graham's book "Someday, Someday Maybe" because, hello...it's Lauren Graham's book. Enough said.

Oooh! I love the print and will definitely want to snatch it up when it arrives in your shop. I also wanted to say that I just finished Lauren Graham's book and really enjoyed it - I think you will too. Definitely a well deserved "break" from your pretty heavy list of classics. :)

I had to read The Scarlet Letter in high school, and barely made it through ha! I wonder if my perspective on it would be different 20 years later though.
